Best Practices

Be Specific About the Work Needed

I’m here to help, but I’m not a mind reader. When scheduling, please provide a clear description of the issue.

  • What’s the problem?

  • When did it start?

  • What have you tried so far?

  • What outcome are we trying to achieve?

The more detail you provide, the better I can prepare.

Urgent or After-Hours Appointments

I understand that sometimes things just can't wait.

  • I do offer urgent and after-hours service:

  • Appointments after 8:00 PM include a $100 after-hours fee.

  • Rush service may come with additional costs depending on availability.  This includes same day service which has a $100 additional fee

Please understand that I often work 12–15 hour days—after-hours work requires extra energy and is priced accordingly.

Accepted Payment Methods

I accept the following:

  • Cash

  • CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle

  • Check

  • Credit Card via PayPal (with a 5% processing fee)

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made in advance.

Reliability

When you're on my schedule, you can expect I’ll be there. If I ever need to reschedule, you'll receive notice in advance.

Minimum Visit Fee

Every service call includes a minimum one-hour charge of $75, even if the job takes less time. I come ready to help solve your issue, but I do bill for my time, regardless of the outcome.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is valuable. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled time will incur a $75 cancellation fee (equal to one hour of service). This protects my schedule and availability for others.

Appointment Confirmation

Once you schedule an appointment, you will receive an email confirmation. Any changes or cancellations will also be confirmed via email.

Text Confirmation

Please text your name and appointment time to me at 513-515-3276 after scheduling so I can ensure your booking is properly noted.

Standard Rates

Most handyman work is billed at $75/hour. If a job requires a unique quote or has unusual circumstances (materials, travel, specialty tools, etc.), I will let you know up front.

Scope Creep / “Can You Also...” Requests

If additional tasks come up during the appointment, I’m happy to help if time allows. Just note that any extra work beyond the original scope will be billed accordingly.

Supplies & Materials

If I need to purchase materials for your job, the cost of materials will be added to your final invoice, along with any time spent acquiring them.

On-Site Safety

Please ensure the workspace is safe, accessible, and clear of obstacles (including pets or hazards). I reserve the right to refuse service in unsafe or unsanitary environments.

Weather Policy

Outdoor jobs may be rescheduled due to inclement weather. You’ll be contacted promptly if a change is necessary.

Payment Failure

Payment is expected at the completion of work.  Delayed payments will incur a 5% daily penalty.
